The project refers to visual memory as a specific archive, a place in man where his imaginations, sketches, visions, reflections and afterimages are stored. It refers to a space that is constantly changing through processes related to remembering and forgetting, through the process of blurring memories, processing everything by the imagination. It is a kind of internal collection where the title Furrows are paintings or traces of images, traces of thoughts, emotions and memories. The project is an attempt to recreate this enigmatic place/ state and its changeable character. In this work entitled Furrows I focus on finding and recalling images from the memory. Developed on the principle of painting and combining them on large-format compositions imitating images hung in the space of a real gallery. I collect and put them together like photos in a photo album or works in a nineteenth-century art salon on the brim of filled walls. I am interested in juxtapositions of memories, illusions, flow of stories and associations from the world of culture. I am filled with images and their traces, imprints that energize my imagination and evoke more creation of images. I want to see them more clearly, record, distinguish and exhibit them.
