A series of paintings/photographs made by painting directly on the camera matrix ( digital SLR). The project is an attempt to use the camera as a tool for creating at the verge of painting and photography. It was built on breaking the basic principles of taking pictures and ignoring classic applications and formulas of using a photographic device. The project is focused on searching for a specific form and new means of expression for photography and painting. The name of the project comes from the camera brand I worked on (Canon) and refers to the concept of Canon in art. This concept has always been closely associated with certain rules and methods being the expression of aesthetic views prevailing in a given period of cultural development. In my experimental search from the border of two areas, I noticed traces of the presence in art of a special type of canon consisting in breaking existing rules in the development of new solutions.
